In 1980, James Corbett, a visionary entrepreneur, owned two manufacturing companies in Australia that served the stone industry, employing a team of around 100 dedicated individuals. Faced with the challenge of finding an efficient way to lift heavy objects, James had a groundbreaking idea that would change the industry forever. In a moment of brilliance, he invented a clamp for lifting marble and granite—an innovation so impactful that it earned him a patent in early 1995.
James took the next bold step in 2002, establishing a factory in Vietnam to bring his revolutionary products, such as Slab Lifting Clamps, to a global audience.
